Why is there an Application Process?
This course draws on expertise from Mayo Clinic’s Wellness Coach team. Many of these team members are facilitators of the courses’ virtual interactive discussions. To create a more personal learning experience, the course cohort size is limited.
How will I know if I am accepted?
You will receive an email communicating your acceptance status within 10 business days of applying. Accepted learners also receive instructions on how to register for the course.

Is your next step the National Coaching Exam? Join the Mayo Clinic Wellness Coach Training program for an interactive webinar series: National Board Wellness Coaching Exam Prep.
This special offer is only for Mayo Clinic Wellness Coach Training Program participants as we build upon the foundation of the 5E Coaching Model. Participants will have the opportunity to apply coaching skills, strategies and best practices as spelled out in the NBHWC content outline, through a variety of group-based, synchronous learning activities. To help you and your peers get the most from this group training course, outside content review and study prior to the live learning sessions is highly recommended.

Earn up to 4 Mayo Clinic continuing education credits by attending the virtual, synchronous study-group sessions, followed by completion of the course survey. Recordings will be available to students for learning and review purposes.

Are you interested in taking your coaching skills to the next level? Mentor Coaching is open to graduates who have completed the Mayo Clinic Wellness Coach Training Program. This opportunity allows you to work one-on-one with a Nationally Board Certified- Health and Wellness Coach of the Mayo Clinic Healthy Living Program. In three, one-hour sessions, experience practical coaching, discuss and brainstorm strategies pertaining to specific coach situations or submit audio for your coach to review and provide feedback. Cost: $300
